Certain seller information may be shown to buyers, displayed on seller storefronts, included on invoices or shared with service providers where necessary for a transaction or legal requirement.

Nijee may retain verification and compliance records needed to prevent repeat abuse, manage disputes, satisfy financial obligations and respond to lawful enquiries.

7. Payments, settlements and wallet information

Payments may be processed through authorised banks, payment gateways, payment aggregators or other payment service providers. These providers may independently collect and process payment credentials under their own terms and privacy notices.

Nijee may receive transaction references, payment status, instrument type, masked identifiers, refund status and risk signals. Nijee does not intend to publicly disclose complete card credentials, passwords, PINs or OTPs.

10. Cookies, local storage and analytics

Nijee may use cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, maintain carts, protect sessions, analyse traffic, measure performance and improve marketplace functionality.

These technologies may include:

  • Essential cookies required for security and core operation.
  • Preference cookies that remember selected settings.
  • Analytics cookies used to understand platform usage.
  • Advertising or campaign measurement technologies where enabled.

Browser settings may permit users to block or delete cookies. Disabling essential cookies can affect login, checkout, account security or other platform functions.

11. Service and promotional communications

Nijee may send transactional communications concerning registration, account activity, payments, orders, deliveries, returns, disputes, security and policy updates.

Promotional communications may be sent where permitted. Users may use available unsubscribe, preference or account-management options to reduce non-essential marketing messages.

Opting out of promotional communication will not necessarily stop essential account, transaction, safety or legal notices.

Retention periods may differ according to data type, transaction status, account activity, applicable law and operational need. Information may be deleted, anonymised or placed beyond ordinary use when it is no longer required, subject to lawful exceptions.

Nijee may need to verify the identity and authority of the requester before acting. A request may be limited or refused where retention or processing is required by law, necessary for a transaction, needed for fraud prevention, or permitted under another lawful ground.

Users are responsible for providing accurate information and must not impersonate another person or submit misleading privacy requests.

15. Children and minors

Nijee's marketplace accounts and commercial transactions are intended for persons capable of entering legally binding arrangements or for use under the supervision and responsibility of a lawful parent or guardian.

Nijee does not knowingly encourage children to submit unnecessary personal data. Where legally required, appropriate consent or verification relating to a parent or lawful guardian may be sought.

Users should review the privacy notices of payment, logistics, social media, advertising and other external services before providing information directly to them.

18. Fraud, abuse and legal compliance

Nijee may use account, device, payment, order, seller and communication information to detect suspicious behaviour, prevent unauthorised transactions, investigate policy violations and protect marketplace users.

Information may be preserved or disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a lawful process, investigate fraud, protect safety or enforce marketplace agreements.

19. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Nijee may update this Policy to reflect changes in technology, marketplace operations, service providers, legal requirements or business practices.

The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective or revision date. Material notices may also be communicated through the platform or registered contact details where appropriate.
